Teri Rasmussen has given clients pragmatic counsel and advice for more than 25 years and has built a diverse and integrated practice in the areas of business/corporate, commercial, lending, creditors’ rights, and real estate law. For businesses, as well as their owners and top management, she publishes the Ohio Practical Business Law blog which focuses on providing the information and analysis essential to reaching legally informed business and personal decisions. For lenders, lessors/landlords, and other creditors, Rasmussen brings her extensive knowledge and experience in representing banks and other financial institutions of all sizes to bear in structuring and negotiating commercial loans and ensuring their repayment as agreed.

Rasmussen is an adjunct professor in Business Law at Capital University’s School of Management where she teaches both introductory and advanced business law. She is also a frequent speaker at seminars on various topics such as LLC and business entity formation, bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy remedies available to creditors, commercial lending practices, and making the most of social networking and other technology in the 21^st century practice of law. In addition to her legal blog, Rasmussen’s articles have been published by trade and general periodicals over a number of years.
